 Mobile Salon Exterior
Our mobile salon is housed in a 2007 Dodge Sprinter cargo van The vehicle is equipped with a diesel engine, and it is powered by a multiple-battery inverter system. The Sprinter van is aerodynamically designed to provide a high ceiling and a spacious cargo area while maintaining ease of maneuverability in tight areas, narrow drives, or small cul-de-sacs. The exterior graphics were designed by Shelli Morgan and installed at Fl Graphix in Dallas, Georgia. The inside of the mobile salon was designed, engineered, and installed by Hanvey Speciality Engineering in Pickens, South Carolina. Curtis Hanvey, the son of a career pet groomer, has spent several years designing and creating mobile salons and grooming equipment to provide mobile groomers with the best, most efficient, highest quality products on the market today. Our salon is self-sufficient and completely mobile. We have tanks on board to hold both fresh, warm water and gray, waste water. A battery-powered inverter system provides us with ample power to operate all of the grooming equipment without the need for shoreline power from our clients' homes. The heating and air-conditioning system is designed to maintain optimum temperature in the salon regardless of the climate or outside weather conditions. A central HVAC system has been installed to allow for fast, efficient clean-up between each and every groom. The tub is made from heavy-gauged stainless steel, and the electric elevator grooming table is designed for lifting and moving animals safely and effectively. It also has an oversized top to accommodate large dogs. The van is equipped with a Hydro-Massage bathing system which not only cleans an animal's coat more effectively, but it also gives the animal a relaxing, pulsating massage during each bath. The floor of the salon is covered with the Complete Seal floor system to provide a waterproof seal which prevents water damage and sub-floor rot. The walls are constructed from the same marine material used in boat construction to ensure that the salon is water resistant and resistant to mold and mildew. The hair dryers on board are high velocity dryers designed to dry animals quickly and efficiently without the need for kennel drying or excessive heat that can damage an animal's skin and coat. Bright, full-spectrum DC lighting is strategically placed in the salon to eliminate shadows and illuminate an animal from multiple angles to allow for accurate and even clipping and scissoring. Our mobile grooming salon is a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for all of our clients' pets.     |
